About the position

The HR Specialist - Jr role at Robert Half is focused on supporting the recruitment and onboarding processes within the HR department. This position involves a variety of administrative tasks, including scheduling interviews, managing IT requests, and maintaining accurate HR records. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process, focusing on the backend operations
  • Schedule and conduct interviews as part of the selection process
  • Handle the onboarding process for new hires
  • Submit IT requests and manage the implementation of new systems and processes
  • Schedule necessary checks such as drug screens and background checks
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all HR activities
  • Assist with other duties as required by the HR department
  • Utilize HRIS systems for various functions
  • Use Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) for various tasks
  • Help in creating a fast-paced, detail-oriented work environment

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook
  • Demonstrated planning skills
  • Familiarity with onboarding and filing processes
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience conducting and scheduling interviews
  • Knowledge of HRIS Systems
  • Familiarity with background checks and drug screens
  • Understanding of backend development
  • Knowledge of selection and screening processes
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry is highly desirable
