About the position

As a Human Resources Specialist at Precise Systems, you will play a crucial role in supporting our corporate team in Lexington Park, Maryland. This position is essential for the administration of day-to-day operations related to the assimilation of new hires into the organization. You will be responsible for effectively recording, updating, and reporting required human resource data, ensuring that all information is accurate and up-to-date. Your role will also involve establishing and maintaining working relationships with company personnel and management, as well as with applicants, visitors, callers, and business professionals. The Human Resources Specialist will supplement our Human Resources and Recruitment practices and objectives, contributing to the overall effectiveness of our HR team. The ideal candidate will be well-organized, possess strong attention to detail, and have excellent communication skills. You will be expected to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism, making your role vital in maintaining the integrity of our HR processes. In this position, you will also be expected to utilize Microsoft Office for various administrative duties, showcasing your proficiency in these tools. Your ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, will be essential in fostering positive relationships within the organization and with external stakeholders. Additionally, you will need to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance due to the sensitive nature of customer-related requirements, which necessitates U.S. Citizenship.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • At least one year of business office experience.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
