About the position

The HR Specialist is a detail-oriented and people-centric professional responsible for supporting the HR team in Spencer, Wisconsin. This role focuses on recruitment, fostering positive employee relations, and managing local HR processes within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The HR Specialist will collaborate with hiring managers, ensure compliance with labor agreements, and maintain accurate employee records.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and deliver on recruiting plan.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience in partnership with the Talent Acquisition team.
• Foster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement.
• Address employee concerns and conduct investigations when necessary.
• Own and manage local HR processes and maintain accurate employee records.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires.
• Partner with leadership, HR, and Labor to ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreement.

Requirements

• High School Diploma and 1 plus years of experience in HR generalist field.
• Candidates with PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or warehousing environment preferred.
• Union experiences preferred.
• Ability to thrive and demonstrate agility in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
