Responsibilities

  • Recommend and collaborate on comprehensive compensation and benefits packages.
  • Administer and oversee health, life, savings, and disability programs.
  • Implement impactful training sessions and development plans.
  • Plan and execute quarterly and annual performance reviews.
  • Keep employee records updated with new hires and employment changes.
  • Maintain and update organizational charts, job descriptions, and compensation records.
  • Forecast hiring needs and ensure a smooth recruitment process.
  • Develop and enforce HR policies that reflect the organization's values and comply with legal standards.
  • Address employee queries promptly and effectively.
  • Stay informed and ensure compliance with labor and employment laws.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as an HR Specialist or Generalist.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS (e.g., ADP Workforce Now) and ATS.
  • Solid understanding of labor laws (state & federal) and payroll processes.
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Team management experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Experience in training and development.
