About the position

The HR Manager at Tempus will be responsible for overseeing various human resources functions, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and strategic HR initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting, including job posting, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Develop and implement HR policies that align with company objectives.
  • Manage employee relations, resolve conflicts, and address grievances.
  • Oversee benefits administration, including health insurance and time-off policies.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist department heads in performance management and employee development.
  • Support the company's environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives.
  • Handle payroll and HR reporting as needed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in HR management.
  • Strong knowledge of California labor laws and compliance.
  • Experience in recruiting for technical and operational roles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Experience in a warehouse or operational environment is a plus.
