About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing various HR functions, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of human resources practices.

Responsibilities

• Administer employee benefits programs, including FMLA and workers' compensation claims.
• Utilize HR software such as Dayforce and SAP for efficient human capital management.
• Support succession planning initiatives to ensure organizational effectiveness.
• Manage workforce management processes, including staffing and scheduling.
• Facilitate employee relations by addressing concerns and promoting a positive work environment.
• Maintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for recruitment purposes.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
• Conduct training sessions on HR-related topics as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in human resources or a similar role.
• Familiarity with FMLA regulations and workers' compensation processes.
• Proficiency in HR software systems such as Dayforce or SAP is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations practices and workforce management strategies.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
