About the position

We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Specialist to join our team at Crumbl Cookies Franchisee in Vineyard, UT. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive work environment. This part-time position requires a commitment to managing talent acquisition activities, which includes sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates to find the best fit for our team. The HR Specialist will also handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management, ensuring that all employees feel supported and valued in their roles. In addition to these responsibilities, the HR Specialist will assist in change management initiatives within the organization, helping to guide employees through transitions and ensuring that changes are implemented smoothly. The role requires a proactive approach to HR functions, with a focus on creating a positive workplace culture while enhancing HR processes. The successful candidate will be expected to work approximately 30 hours per week during the day shift, contributing to the overall success of our team and the organization as a whole.

Responsibilities

  • Manage talent acquisition activities including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates
  • Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management
  • Assist in change management initiatives within the organization

Requirements

  • Proven experience in HR functions including conflict management, employee orientation, talent acquisition, and change management
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Proficient in data entry and reporting
  • Managerial experience
  • Experience with purchasing and vendor relationships
  • Solid computer skills, with excel spreadsheets and 3rd party software in the food space
  • Ideally, experience in the restaurant and food business
  • Familiarity with accounting and finance
  • Knowledge and experience with employment codes and HR disciplines

Nice-to-haves

  • Leadership experience (1 year preferred)
