About the position

The HR Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Human Resources team and department leaders by providing comprehensive customer service and executing a variety of HR duties. This position focuses on onboarding, employment changes, and compensation, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and maintaining data integrity across HR systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provides support to all HR staff.
  • Consistently provides high level customer service skills while assisting current and future employees.
  • Collaborates with multiple and various staff outside the department to successfully accomplish projects and tasks.
  • Maintains and monitors personnel files in accordance with CRMC policies.
  • Maintains data integrity of all HR systems.
  • Creates ID badges / assign appropriate security profiles.
  • Participates in continuous learning to ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and all applicable human resources standards.
  • May assist in developing best practices around procedures and process.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field OR high school diploma and two (2) or more years of job-related experience OR three (3) or more years of job-related experience.
  • Proficient with MS Office, Outlook and Internet Explorer.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in healthcare and familiarity with HRIS systems
  • Bachelor's degree
