About the position

The Human Resources Specialist at Callaway Golf plays a crucial role in fostering strong partnerships and providing informed assistance to both internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of general HR concepts and demonstrate a commitment to maintaining confidentiality while managing various HR-related tasks. The role requires professionalism and the ability to handle complex HR assignments, utilizing sound judgment to address issues and provide valuable recommendations. In this position, the HR Specialist will facilitate seamless onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring their smooth integration into the organization. They will serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, offering guidance and support as needed. The HR Specialist will also assist in resolving employee relations matters, conducting investigations when necessary, and suggesting appropriate actions. Supporting talent management initiatives is another key responsibility, which includes succession planning, performance evaluations, and development strategies. The HR Specialist will provide coaching and guidance to both managers and employees on performance-related issues, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Additionally, the HR Specialist will maintain accurate HR records and documentation in accordance with legal requirements. They will support various HR projects and initiatives, including program development, change implementations, community engagement, and efforts to promote diversity and inclusion within the workplace. This role demands a profound knowledge of HR principles, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate seamless onboarding for new hires, ensuring their smooth integration into the organization.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR roles, focusing on HR generalist functions.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent college-level education is preferred.
• Profound knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulatory frameworks.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and with sensitivity.
• Proficiency in Workday systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational prowess and multitasking abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a penchant for accuracy in work.
