This entry-level position encompasses a variety of responsibilities including onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, records management, training, policy implementation, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. In this role, you will be responsible for processing background checks, Motor Vehicle Records (MVR), and drug screenings for potential employees. You will review and audit all pre-employment documents to ensure accuracy and compliance. Additionally, you will assist HR Specialists with I-9 verifications and generate billing submissions for all background vendor invoices. Engaging with applicants throughout the background process is a key part of your responsibilities, as is contacting them for their orientation and assisting the Senior HR Manager with the onboarding process. Maintaining and updating employee information in the system is essential, as is conducting monthly audits of driver's licenses. You will follow established employee filing procedures and perform any other duties assigned to support the HR team effectively.
