About the position

The Employee Relations Specialist will manage all aspects of employee relations within the organization, focusing on resolving complaints, providing guidance to management, and supporting HR initiatives aimed at improving employee morale. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure compliance with employment laws and to foster a positive workplace environment.

Responsibilities

  • Handle all matters related to employee relations within the organization.
  • Investigate and resolve issues of employee complaints, harassment, and discrimination.
  • Provide guidance and advice to managers and supervisors on employee relations matters.
  • Support the HR department in implementing programs that help improve employee morale.
  • Identify, coordinate, and conduct exit interviews to identify reasons for employee turnover.
  • Ensure current knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation, and ensure organizational compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or any related field.
  • Previous experience in human resources roles, especially in recruitment or employment law.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using HR software and computer applications, such as MS Office.
  • Strong organizational, time management and multitasking abilities.
