About the position

The HR Specialist role is focused on providing exceptional support to the recruitment process within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and organized, with strong communication skills and proficiency in various software applications. This position involves assisting with onboarding, scheduling interviews, and providing administrative support to the recruitment team.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule drug screens/background checks and submit IT requests.
  • Assist with onboarding new hires.
  • Schedule interviews, aid in the interview and selection process, and file necessary documents.
  • Provide administrative support to the recruitment team.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Collaborate with other HR team members as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Associates degree and HR certification preferred.
  • Experience in recruiting/onboarding, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Willingness to conduct interviews, preferably in person.
