About the position

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at Windigo Logistics LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of our HR department, providing exceptional service to our employees, and contributing to the overall success of our organization. The HR Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing various HR functions, ensuring that our workforce is supported and engaged. In this role, you will assist in managing the recruitment process, which includes posting job openings on our careers page, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews. You will utilize our applicant tracking system (ATS) to track job applications and manage the interview process effectively. Coordination with hiring managers is essential to ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed and submitted in a timely manner. Additionally, you will maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records using our HR system, Workday. Your responsibilities will also include providing support with employee relations, resolving conflicts, and addressing employee concerns. You will assist with payroll processing, ensuring that all employee information is accurate and up-to-date. Furthermore, you will manage employee benefits, including health insurance and retirement plans, using our HR system. Conducting new hire orientations and providing onboarding support will be part of your duties to ensure a smooth transition for new employees into the organization. Developing and maintaining effective relationships with employees and management will be key to promoting a positive and productive work environment. You will also perform other HR-related duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the HR department.

Requirements

  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a recruitment or employee relations capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Experience with HR systems and software such as ADP and Workday.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
