The HR Specialist position at GEO Group is a vital role that provides para-professional support in various functional areas of Human Resources (HR). This position operates under limited supervision and is responsible for a range of HR activities including recruitment, onboarding, personnel records management, employee relations, regulatory reporting, and benefits administration. The HR Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers, supporting local recruiting efforts in coordination with the centralized recruiting team to meet or exceed monthly and annual recruiting targets efficiently. In this role, the HR Specialist will engage with employees to resolve issues with professionalism and tact, acting as a conduit for communication between facility management, Regional HR, and Corporate HR.
