About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and a thorough understanding of HR processes and tools, including ATS systems like iCIMS and Salesforce. This position is essential in fostering a positive workplace culture and supporting our organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and onboarding new hires.
  • Utilize ATS tools such as iCIMS to streamline hiring processes and maintain accurate candidate records.
  • Conduct HR sourcing to identify potential candidates through various channels.
  • Collaborate with management on talent management strategies to enhance employee performance and retention.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of affirmative action plans to promote diversity within the workforce.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other labor laws to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform data entry and data collection tasks related to employee records, benefits administration, and training programs.
  • Support employee relations by addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts, and facilitating communication between staff and management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in human resources or related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ATS systems (iCIMS) and Salesforce is highly desirable.
  • Strong interviewing skills with the ability to assess candidates effectively.
  • Knowledge of HR sourcing techniques to attract top talent.
  • Experience in talent management practices that foster employee development.
  • Understanding of affirmative action planning principles is a plus.
  • Proficient in data entry and data collection methods for maintaining accurate HR records.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and commitment to workplace safety.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining confidentiality.
