About the position

The HR Specialist will support various business units within a leading manufacturing company by assisting in recruitment efforts, handling employee relations, and evaluating compensation structures. This role requires excellent communication skills and a detail-oriented approach to align HR solutions with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruitment efforts for management and hourly open positions in conjunction with hiring managers.
• Attend recruiting events, job fairs, and company promotional opportunities to build an applicant pool and interest.
• Handle employee relations, including employee complaints, investigations, and performance management.
• Assist with periodic evaluation of compensation structure and programs to ensure they are equitable, effective, and competitive within the market.
• Coordinate the creation or evaluation of job descriptions in conjunction with department managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business with a preferred concentration in Human Resources, Communication, or Pre-Law focus.
• 1+ year of experience in business administration or human resources.
• Experience with a company with 300+ employees.
• Industry exposure with manufacturing, production, or related private service organization.
• Must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
