About the position

We are seeking a motivated HR Specialist to join a dynamic team in the wholesale distribution sector, based in Suwanee, Georgia. In this role, you will support a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee services, HR systems management, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage the applicant tracking system, handling full-cycle recruitment and maintaining data integrity.
• Provide technical assistance and ensure the accuracy of recruitment processes.
• Organize interview logistics, including scheduling and preparing materials for specific roles.
• Monitor the progress of background checks and offer letters, ensuring timely onboarding.
• Serve as a point of contact for new hires, guiding them through onboarding, completing required forms, and answering questions.
• Assist with bi-weekly orientations and contribute to the planning of onboarding programs.
• Oversee employee offboarding, including managing termination paperwork and ensuring the return of company property.
• Support benefits administration, including assisting with events and the annual open enrollment process.
• Contribute to employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, action planning, and communication strategies.
• Assist in creating and distributing internal communications for HR-related updates across the company.

Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency in ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
• Experience in Benefit Functions
• Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal
• Knowledge of Compliance procedures and regulations
• Proven track record in Employee Relations
• Familiarity with FMLA regulations and procedures
• Experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration
• Proven ability to handle Onboarding procedures
• Experience in Benefits Administration
• Must have a background in Wholesale Distribution HR Specialist experience is preferred.
