The HR Specialist position at People Inc. is a full-time role focused on managing new hire data entry and ensuring that all information is accurately and timely entered into the HRIS database. This position plays a crucial role in the onboarding process, as it involves processing new employee records, both through the HRIS database queue and manually when necessary. The HR Specialist will be responsible for all aspects of post-processing new employee data entry, ensuring that all records are imported into the internal filing database without errors and within the required timeframes. In addition to managing new employee records, the HR Specialist will follow up on pending records and update the HRIS database accordingly. This includes monitoring job description requests and importing signed records into the internal filing database. The role also requires the importation of miscellaneous employee records, such as DSP Assessments, into the internal filing database as needed. The HR Specialist will support the HRIS team by assisting with coverage and other tasks as required, ensuring compliance with all agency policies and procedures. This position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented and possess excellent computer skills. The HR Specialist will interact with various levels of personnel within the organization, making strong communication skills essential for success in this role.
