About the position

The HR Specialist will play a crucial role in managing human resources within a non-profit organization in San Francisco, California. This contract-to-hire position involves a variety of HR tasks, including recruitment, compliance, benefits coordination, and effective communication within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Utilize ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now for efficient HR operations
• Manage and optimize ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode for recruitment processes
• Leverage Ceridian and CRM tools for effective HRM and customer relations
• Employ About Time tool for efficient time and attendance management
• Conduct thorough Auditing on HR practices and policies to ensure compliance
• Oversee Benefit Functions and Benefits Coordination to ensure optimized employee welfare
• Maintain clear and effective Communication channels within the organization
• Uphold Compliance with labor laws, regulations and organizational policies
• Handle customer credit applications and maintain accurate records
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

Requirements

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode and Ceridian
• Experience with CRM and About Time software
• Proven skills in Auditing and Benefit Functions
• Exceptional Communication and Compliance abilities
• Adept at Benefits Coordination
• Experience in the Non-Profit industry
• Prior work as an HR Specialist or in a similar role
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field preferred.
