About the position

The HR Supervisor at Syncreon America Inc. is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources functions, including recruitment, retention, training, performance management, and compliance with labor laws. This role involves coaching leadership, managing employee relations, and ensuring effective HR policies and practices are in place. The HR Supervisor will also supervise HR staff and manage the overall safety program within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Direct all aspects of recruitment and retention activities ensuring compliance with equal employment policies.
• Recommend training and development strategies for broad and individualized needs.
• Coach leadership and participate in investigating union grievances.
• Assist in performance management and participate in counseling and termination proceedings.
• Develop and implement policies and programs to improve management and employee relations.
• Counsel administrators and employees on HR policies and procedures.
• Maintain HRIS systems and manage employee complaints.
• Supervise HR staff, plan and review assignments, and evaluate job performance.
• Ensure compliance with Federal/State/Provincial labor laws and maintain necessary files.
• Manage the overall safety program and related investigations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, labor relations, business, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience performing professional level human resources duties.
• Knowledge of principles and procedures used in human resources.
• Extensive knowledge of Federal/State/Provincial laws affecting HR administration.
