About the position

The HR Supervisor at A-Train in Stockton, CA, plays a crucial role in supporting the Sr. HR Manager and the project management team. This position involves managing complex projects, ensuring compliance with HR policies, and leading interdepartmental teams to achieve project goals efficiently and accurately. The HR Supervisor is expected to take a proactive approach in executing tasks and making independent decisions to support the organization’s objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Organize, manage, and plan complex projects for the organization’s research, development, and project implementation efforts.
  • Delegate work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints.
  • Lead an interdepartmental team to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Outline the tasks involved in a project and delegate accordingly.
  • Address project questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
  • Ensure HR Compliance policies are being followed nationwide.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices nationwide.
  • Update project plans as needed to include contact with those responsible for the various needs of each project.
  • Assist and support with all open orders nationwide.
  • Ensure all project updates are being sent on a timely manner for all HR Champions.
  • Support with reviewing and training on all submittals for Promotions/Replacements for the teams in all Service Centers.
  • Track all Submittals, Replacements, Promotions for all Distribution Centers.
  • Assist with Investigations, Councils, and File Audits for all the Service Centers.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years related experience preferred.
  • Strong computer skills required, including MS Office and Excel.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and lead a diverse workforce.
