About the position

The HR Supervisor at Healing Harmonies will play a crucial role in shaping the HR function within the organization. This full-time position involves collaborating with the leadership team to support a dedicated group of therapists, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive work environment. The HR Supervisor will manage various HR processes, oversee office operations, and contribute to team culture and engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, payroll, and other HR-related matters.
  • Manage employee onboarding, offboarding, and performance management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
  • Foster a positive and supportive work environment aligned with company values.
  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, including managing vendor relationships, supplies, and equipment.
  • Provide support with billing and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and claims filing.
  • Assist with budget monitoring, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and Clinical Supervisor on recruitment efforts, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a strong and positive company culture.
  • Organize team-building events and activities that promote collaboration and camaraderie.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in a small business environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance regulations.
  • Experience with payroll, benefits administration, and performance management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Knowledge of medical billing and claims filing systems.
  • Familiarity with Wisconsin State funding programs (Medicaid, IRIS, etc.).
  • Spanish language fluency.
