About the position

The Human Resource Support Specialist at Terros Health is a full-time role based in Phoenix, AZ, responsible for providing administrative support to the HR Post Employment Team. This position involves coordinating new hire onboarding, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with licensure and accreditation requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer service-focused, and able to work collaboratively with various stakeholders within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate initial new hire onboarding, including the completion of new hire paperwork and assistance with New Employee Orientation (NEO).
  • Keep employee records up to date by processing employee status changes in Paycom in a timely fashion.
  • Responsible for data entry and importing all data and documents for new hires into Paycom and P Drive.
  • Coordinate with other departments regarding onboarding and documentation requirements for licensure and accreditation, ensuring HR records meet requirements.
  • Assist with fingerprints clearance card requests and respond to audit requests.
  • Obtain DCS Central Registry clearance and complete monthly audit reports for appropriate positions.
  • Process new and terminated employees in the 401k Plan administrator portal as needed.
  • Assist with credentialing and privileged processes for appropriate staff.
  • Provide backup to HR Assistant and front office duties.
  • Process incoming degree verification and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; preferred college credits or AA in Liberal Arts/HR.
  • 3 years of driving experience with a valid Arizona Driver's license.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
  • Well-developed critical thinking and analytical abilities.
  • Strong time management, organizational, conflict resolution, and judgment skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build credibility and interact with other departments and leaders.
  • Ability to apply for an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (level 1) within 7 working days of assuming the role.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in HRIS and applicant tracking systems.
  • Previous experience in a human resources role.
