About the position

The HRIS Support Specialist at SWBC is responsible for providing comprehensive HRIS support to clients and internal employees. This role requires a quick learner with technical aptitude, capable of managing projects and deadlines independently while delivering exceptional customer service. The specialist will maintain knowledge of HR technology modules and assist clients with inquiries, troubleshooting, and data reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain full knowledge of all modules of HR-specific technology support, including Timekeeping, Benefits, Recruitment, Performance Evaluations, and Onboarding.
  • Provide ongoing telephone, online, and webinar support to multiple client companies for all HRIS inquiries.
  • Identify and recommend product customizations, enhancements, or workarounds to enhance the client's experience.
  • Provide data and reports to address specific benefits, tracking, recruiting, and training per client's needs.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and help resolve HRIS issues in a timely manner.
  • Document and log work efforts, including all client support requests.
  • Provide recommendations to SWBC PEO's leadership around potential best practices and training on SWBC PEO's solutions, based on client input or experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Three (3) years' experience in HRIS, timekeeping software, payroll software, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in a client service environment managing multiple clients simultaneously in a related field (Payroll, Time and Labor, HRIS, IT).
  • Ability to work efficiently and manage workload independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Cloud-based software experience.
  • Experience with custom reporting.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills including the ability to multi-task, set priorities, and follow up in a timely manner.
  • Proficient in the latest web technologies and working knowledge of various operating systems.
  • Ability to think strategically and understand a client's organizational needs to swiftly identify a solution.
