About the position

The HRIS Systems Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation, management, and optimization of HR technology systems. This role ensures that HR systems effectively support organizational goals, streamline HR processes, and improve the overall employee experience. The HRIS Program Manager leads cross-functional teams in the integration, configuration, and maintenance of HRIS platforms, ensuring alignment with business needs and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of HRIS strategies, ensuring systems are aligned with business goals and HR initiatives.
  • Oversee the successful implementation of new HR systems, modules, or features, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
  • Manage system integrations between HRIS and other enterprise systems (e.g., payroll, benefits, finance, performance management).
  • Manage the day-to-day operation and maintenance of HRIS, ensuring smooth functionality, integration with other systems and user satisfaction.
  • Ensure HRIS data integrity by developing and enforcing data governance standards and procedures.
  • Build and manage dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights on workforce metrics (e.g., turnover, headcount, performance).
  • Develop and deliver training materials for HRIS users, ensuring HR team members and employees understand how to effectively use the system.
  • Ensure HRIS compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational data protection requirements.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional projects related to HRIS, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and objectives.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for HRIS processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HRIS management.
  • Strong knowledge of HRIS platforms and willingness to learn new systems.
  • Experience in HR processes (payroll, benefits, recruiting, talent management, etc.) and understanding of HR data and reporting needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex HRIS projects from conception to delivery.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to extract, interpret, and present data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with system integrations, data management, and HR technology best practices.

Nice-to-haves

  • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
