About the position

Our client provides compassionate services for seniors, persons with degenerative diseases, and individuals undergoing post-operative care. They have two operations, one that offers Personal Assistant Services (Private in-home care) and another that operates four boutique, eight-resident Assisted Living properties. The organization is owned and operated out of Dallas, Texas with recent expansions and plans to grow beyond. This role is foundational to the HR operation. As part of the Human Resource team, this individual supports the success of over 200 remote employees. This position is key in fostering a smooth, warm, and professional experience from the very first moment an applicant calls or finds them online, through their entire employment experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver the recruitment process across Manchester Care Homes, Cambridge Caregivers, and the Corporate business unit.
  • Develop an online recruitment presence, screening, and interviewing candidates, performing background and reference checks, and extending offers.
  • Manage the employment experience for new hires through the extended onboarding process up to 60-90 days from hire date.
  • Manage pre-employment and application flow integrity.
  • Propose new and innovative ways to recruit and communicate our value proposition to widen our talent pipeline.
  • Accurately onboard talent in our HRIS system and support new hires, being their first point of contact during their first 90 days.
  • Host and re-design Orientation.
  • Host 60-day Q&A Zoom Sessions with new hires.
  • Facilitate ongoing activities to increase employee engagement.
  • Participate in employee training programs.
  • Update employee training and skill data in HRIS system.
  • Assist with and suggest HR initiatives and talent retention programs.
  • Deliver reports on recruitment, retention, and engagement targets to HR lead.

Requirements

  • Experience in one or more of the following: Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits Administration, Training, Onboarding, HR Operations, Home Health/PAS Administration, Recruiting.
  • 2-4 years of HR experience in a high-volume hourly wage company.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study.
