About the position

The HR Technology Optimization Director at Freeman Company is responsible for overseeing the implementation and daily operation of HR Technology systems. This role drives the strategic direction of the HR Technology function, collaborating with key stakeholders to establish organizational goals and ensure effective maintenance and administration of HR systems. The director will lead a team, manage projects, and ensure compliance with legal and company requirements while enhancing the user experience with HR technology.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the People Technology team, including hiring, training, performance management, and mentorship.
  • Evolve the HCMS technology portfolio and roadmap in partnership with HR COE leads, IT, and Business Operations leads.
  • Develop playbooks and tactics to facilitate successful partnerships between HR Technology and the broader Freeman enterprise.
  • Maintain HCMS connectivity with other internal systems and external providers.
  • Develop and maintain data audit and validation tools to enhance data accuracy.
  • Manage day-to-day HCMS process support activities and periodic release impacts.
  • Develop and maintain SuccessFactors system connectivity and integration with other systems.
  • Create HCMS training and orientation for internal delivery.
  • Maintain system configuration documentation, data governance models, and scorecards.
  • Evaluate HCMS requirements for continuous improvement and value creation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years' experience in an HRIS manager or equivalent position.
  • Minimum of five (5) years' HRMS system implementation/deployment and change management experience.
  • Practical experience with cloud-based HR database administration.
  • Experience developing reports and calculated fields in SuccessFactors is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills to synthesize complex information and recommend actions.
  • Business acumen to align team's work with strategic goals.
  • Critical thinking and decision-making skills to evaluate solutions and make sound decisions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SuccessFactors and SAP modules.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
