About the position

The HRIS Analyst will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the Dayforce HRIS system at NinjaOne. This position involves ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of HR data, providing insightful reports, and collaborating with HR and IT to enhance the user experience of the HRIS platform. The analyst will also be responsible for continuous process improvements and maintaining HRIS systems and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Support Dayforce HRIS configuration, workflow optimization, and user role security changes.
  • Act as an internal consultant to HR leadership and business leaders to understand desired metrics and HR data reporting.
  • Provide support to the HR team in workforce metrics and ad hoc reporting.
  • Troubleshoot HRIS data issues and offer guidance to staff when issues arise.
  • Support implementation, upgrades, and changes according to business and HR needs.
  • Ensure delivery, documentation, and support of configuration and integration/interfaces for new functionality and enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain standards and controls to ensure employee data integrity and compliance.
  • Conduct regular system audits to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Generate reports that highlight efficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in implementing HRIS projects, creating project plans, coordinating test plans, and tracking milestones.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop tech solutions that streamline and automate HR processes.
  • Serve as the escalation point for system issues, ensuring quick and effective resolutions.
  • Provide necessary training to end users to increase their effectiveness with HR systems.
  • Engage and consult with end users regularly to understand system issues and offer business solutions.
  • Execute mass updates with precision, ensuring thorough validation before and after changes.
  • Interact effectively with business leaders, team members, and staff at all levels to build and maintain positive relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 3+ years experience in HRIS system configuration and administration in Dayforce (Ceridian) HRIS.
  • Solid understanding of HRIS database design, structure, functions, and processes.
  • 3+ years experience working in an HR function such as HR Specialist, HR Manager, or related HR role.
  • Experience implementing global HRIS systems.
  • Driven by continuous process improvement and efficiency.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data to determine solutions or identify problems.
  • Strong technical skills in data management administration.
  • Superior detail orientation, organization, and analytical skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Polished written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Ceridian or Dayforce HRIS for 8-10 years.
  • Significant experience implementing systems and integrating existing/new systems.
