About the position

The HRIS Analyst position will provide HRIS system administration in Workday, including maintenance, reporting, troubleshooting, Quality Assurance, configuration, and HR technical troubleshooting. This role collaborates and partners with fellow HRIS SMEs in the US and abroad, IT, Payroll, and Program Managers, who help to facilitate work with HRIS Global Leads and business partners to ensure that HR processes, workflows and data integrity are optimized in Workday. This position partners with IT for functional HR needs, system testing, process improvements, reporting and system upgrades and patches. This position will drive the day-to-day operation and continuous improvement of Workday, especially the development, implementation, and management of overall Quality Assurance and testing processes to ensure that HR Tech products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Partner within the HR Project Operations team to be the technical lead on projects as assigned across various HR Technology functional areas. Manage project Quality Assurance and testing processes, maintenance (utilities, updates, fixes, etc.), reporting, and troubleshooting. Support US-based Global HRIS Leads and partner with HR Project Operations Manager, PMs, and other technical experts to contribute to the implementation of the Global HR Technology strategy and roadmap. Partner to refine business processes and system configuration leveraging Workday subject matter expertise and industry best practices. Partner as needed to present technical solutions or recommendations to stakeholders. Work with HRIS Global Leads to define business requirements and design solutions to meet their needs; identify and manage stakeholder expectations. Share strategic and operational responsibility to ensure productive, on time, and accurate system implementation progress in partnership with project teams. Drive project planning and implementation for new functionality or other changes/ enhancements, and biannual Workday releases. Write and update technical project documentation, such as requirements, configuration and testing plans. Continuously interact with Workday Community to ensure awareness of current and future enhancements. Partner to provide continuous process improvement including methods or procedures. Creates SOPs and WD User Guides for Employees, Managers, regarding current and new functionality pertaining to WD User Experience. Partner to develop, implement, and guide quality assurance (QA) and testing approaches and processes to ensure that HR Tech products (solutions, data/audit, security) meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery. Provide subject matter expertise to create and document comprehensive test cases, scenarios, and/or scripts to address all relative scenarios. General Workday troubleshooting support and root cause investigation as needed. Work on multiple projects/initiatives across multiple topics daily. Other duties as determined.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of Workday or other HR Information System (HRIS) experience.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in business, human resources, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and data, and familiarity with HR operational workflows in areas such as recruiting, talent, payroll, compensation, benefits, job classifications, performance, and position management.
  • Strong working knowledge of Workday/HRIS/HRMS, database systems, and HR-related technologies.
  • Demonstrated understanding of HR processes and practices.
  • Experience writing and testing Workday solutions.
  • Ability to translate business needs into effective testing strategies.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to be agile and work in a fast-paced complex environment and challenge the status quo.
  • Highly organized with strong time management and the ability to multi-task.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
