About the position

The HRIS and Compensation Analyst at MACOM is responsible for the support and maintenance of the human resource information system (HRIS), specifically ADP WFN, along with other HR systems. This role serves as a technical and user support contact for the HR department and business end users, ensuring data integrity, testing system changes, and analyzing data flows for process improvements. Additionally, the analyst interprets compensation data to ensure competitive and equitable pay structures aligned with market trends.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership and enhancement of HR Metrics, including implementation of an HR Metrics dashboard.
  • Conduct analysis of HR analytics such as hiring and turnover, performance management, compensation, AAP, and EEO.
  • Understand HRIS system reporting functionality and its integration with Payroll systems.
  • Coordinate system-related projects and process improvements, including integration implementations and HR process enhancements.
  • Provide HRIS support and training to the HR department and key users.
  • Research and resolve HRIS problems, unexpected results, or process flaws; recommend solutions or alternate methods.
  • Manage data integrity and reliability for all employment data and system tables.
  • Assist in the review, testing, and implementation of HRIS upgrades or patches.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical staff for application upgrades or fixes.
  • Maintain HRIS tables and document processes and results.
  • Provide compensation insights to HR leadership regarding salary benchmarking and adjustments.
  • Prepare and generate reports related to compensation data, trends, and analysis.
  • Present findings to HR management and stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for improving compensation-related processes and tools, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with compensation-related regulations and internal policies.
  • Monitor pay equity and address discrepancies.

Requirements

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Prior experience with ADP WFN, Cornerstone, UKG, and Workday is a plus but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
