In this role, the teacher will employ a variety of assessment strategies, both traditional and alternative, that align with the curriculum and standards. Effective communication with students, parents, and other stakeholders is essential to support the continuous development of learners. The teacher will also engage in ongoing professional development to enhance their skills and contribute to the overall improvement of the school environment. The position requires the use of instructional strategies and materials that reflect the diverse cultures, learning styles, special needs, and socio-economic backgrounds of students. The teacher must establish a classroom management system that fosters a positive learning environment, encouraging active engagement, social interaction, cooperative learning, and self-motivation among students. Additionally, the teacher will integrate technology into the teaching and learning processes, ensuring that students are equipped with the necessary skills for the modern workforce. The teacher will also be responsible for maintaining accurate school records and preparing reports as required by law and district regulations. This includes accounting for all school property and ensuring compliance with safety procedures. The role may involve working with Limited English Proficient (LEP) students, for which the teacher must complete the necessary training and obtain the required endorsements. • Account for all school property and ensure adherence to safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the principal.

Requirements

• Appropriate State of Florida certification for teaching.
• Computer skills as required for the position.
