The HRLY Teacher for Adult Vocational Industrial at McFatter Technical College is responsible for creating and maintaining a classroom atmosphere that fosters high expectations and enthusiasm for learning. This role emphasizes the integration of critical thinking skills, application skills, interpersonal skills, and technology into a curriculum that aligns with district and state standards. The ultimate goal is to achieve measurable student achievement gains for all students. The teacher will utilize various assessment strategies, both traditional and alternative, to support the continuous development of learners. Effective communication with students, parents, and stakeholders is essential to ensure a collaborative educational environment. In addition to assessment and communication, the teacher will engage in continuous professional development to enhance their skills and contribute to the school's improvement. They will employ instructional strategies that promote critical, creative, and evaluative thinking among students, while also considering the diverse backgrounds and learning styles of each student. Adherence to ethical standards and regulations is crucial, as the teacher must fulfill contractual obligations and assist in enforcing federal, state, and district regulations.
