The HRLY Teacher for Adult Vocational Industrial at Sheridan Technical College is responsible for creating and maintaining a classroom atmosphere that fosters high expectations and enthusiasm for learning. The ultimate goal is to achieve measurable student achievement gains for all students. In addition to assessment and communication, the teacher is expected to engage in continuous professional development to enhance their skills and contribute to the school's improvement. The role requires the use of instructional strategies that reflect the diverse cultures, learning styles, and socio-economic backgrounds of students. Adherence to ethical standards and regulations is crucial, as the teacher must fulfill contractual obligations and uphold the principles of professional conduct in Florida.
