Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a classroom atmosphere that promotes high expectations and enthusiasm for learning.
• Infuse critical thinking skills, application skills, interpersonal skills, and technology into the curriculum.
• Use assessment strategies aligned with curriculum and standards to support continuous learner development.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and stakeholders.
• Engage in continuous professional quality improvement for self and school.
• Implement instructional strategies that reflect students' diverse backgrounds and needs.
• Establish a classroom management system that maintains discipline and promotes active engagement in learning.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate effective instruction and assessment in various learning environments.
• Integrate appropriate technology into teaching and learning processes.
• Maintain school records and prepare required reports.

Requirements

• Appropriate State of Florida certification for Electrician.
• Computer skills as required for the position.
