The HRMS Analyst - Compensation at LyondellBasell is a pivotal role within the HRMS team, focusing on the maintenance, enhancement, and administration of Compensation processes utilizing SAP SuccessFactors. This position demands advanced system knowledge and a strong understanding of business processes, requiring the analyst to effectively collaborate with both business units and IT organizations. The selected candidate will act as a technical point of contact and a subject matter expert, ensuring data integrity and overseeing the testing of system enhancements and updates. Additionally, the role involves gathering and analyzing data flows to identify opportunities for process improvements and troubleshooting issues as they arise. Mentoring other HRMS team members is also a key responsibility, fostering a collaborative and knowledgeable team environment. In this role, the HRMS Analyst will support the management of the SuccessFactors Compensation Module, which includes troubleshooting, upgrades, and enhancements. The analyst will lead the Global Compensation Cycle from a system perspective, utilizing best practices and insights from both internal and external business issues to enhance system functionality. This includes exploring, evaluating, recommending, and designing new features in collaboration with IT to streamline processes and drive continuous improvements. The analyst will serve as a liaison between HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), business organizations, and IT, translating business needs into technical requirements and user stories. Responsibilities also include working on various enhancements as part of the product team, from initial creation through testing and completion, which encompasses training and knowledge sharing. The role requires performing data exports and imports, ensuring load accuracy, and providing tier 2 support to HRMS Operations. As a Subject Matter Expert for Compensation and Employee Central (Core HR) Systems Products, the analyst will mentor and train HRMS team members and business users, ensuring they are well-versed in HRMS Core Systems. The ability to write test scripts and conduct unit, integration, and QA testing is essential, as is the capacity to apply analytical methodologies for data analysis and to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
