About the position

The position involves overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms and public areas in a hotel setting. The role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to upholding the hotel's quality standards. The individual will be responsible for conducting inspections, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and training housekeeping staff. Additionally, the position entails managing inventory and collaborating with various departments to ensure guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
• Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures and standards.
• Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to existing staff to maintain service quality.
• Document inspection results and communicate findings to housekeeping management.
• Address and resolve guest complaints related to room cleanliness or maintenance.
• Oversee inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities, requesting supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with housekeeping teams, maintenance, and front desk to ensure timely room readiness.
• Adhere to safety and security procedures to protect guests, staff, and property.
