The HUB Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in the logistics operations at AIT Worldwide Logistics, focusing on load planning and coordination of freight assignments. This position is responsible for monitoring both inbound and outbound freight at a HUB location, ensuring that all operations align with the AIT Middle Mile Network's standards. The HUB Operations Coordinator acts as a liaison between the freight-forwarding station and the AIT Middle Mile Network HUB operation, providing essential communication, training, and guidance to station personnel. This role is vital in documenting service failures, offering critiques, and facilitating additional training to enhance operational efficiency. As a representative of the AIT Middle Mile Network team, the HUB Operations Coordinator must embody the core values of AIT Worldwide Logistics, ensuring that all freight routing is conducted in accordance with established protocols and expectations. In this position, the HUB Operations Coordinator will regularly assess the need for additional loads based on service dates and coordinate with the AIT Middle Mile Network Linehaul Operations to ensure that all loads are adequately covered. The role requires daily communication with station managers to promote the effective use of the AIT Middle Mile Network, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring that freight is routed correctly. The HUB Operations Coordinator will also be responsible for processing timely updates to the AS400 system, coordinating daily task priorities, and providing loadouts to the HUB Operations Supervisor or station personnel. This position demands proactive communication with both internal and external customers to deliver best-in-class service, as well as conducting investigations into any discrepancies or issues that arise during operations. The HUB Operations Coordinator is expected to perform dock checks, process inbound and outbound documents, and maintain accurate reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) related to HUB operations. This role requires a high level of independence, as the coordinator will often work with minimal supervision while also being capable of training and guiding others in the team. Building strong relationships with LTL carrier partners is essential for facilitating smooth operations and resolving any issues that may occur. The position operates on a schedule from Tuesday to Saturday, 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM, and offers a competitive wage range based on experience and qualifications.
