The HUB Operations Coordinator acts as a liaison between the freight-forwarding station and the AIT Middle Mile Network HUB operation, providing essential communication, training, and guidance to station personnel. This role is vital in documenting service failures, offering critiques, and facilitating additional training to enhance operational efficiency. As a representative of the AIT Middle Mile Network team, the HUB Operations Coordinator must embody the core values of AIT Worldwide Logistics, ensuring that all freight routing is conducted in accordance with established protocols and expectations. In this position, the HUB Operations Coordinator will regularly assess the need for additional loads based on service dates and coordinate with the AIT Middle Mile Network Linehaul Operations to ensure that all loads are adequately covered. The role requires daily communication with station managers to promote the effective use of the AIT Middle Mile Network, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring that freight is routed correctly. The HUB Operations Coordinator will also be responsible for processing timely updates to the AS400 system, coordinating daily task priorities, and providing loadouts to the HUB Operations Supervisor or station personnel.
