About the position

We are seeking a dedicated HUD Community Manager for a Section 8 elderly/disabled property located in Sapulpa. The ideal candidate will possess prior property management experience specifically with Section 8 housing. Familiarity with HUD rules and regulations is essential, as the role involves overseeing rent collections and managing the HUD resident recertification process. The candidate should have a strong command of Microsoft Word and Excel, as these tools will be used regularly in daily operations. Effective communication is crucial in this role; the Community Manager must be able to convey information clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, to prospects, residents, employees, and vendors. A basic understanding of building maintenance and liability reduction is also necessary to ensure the property is well-maintained and compliant with safety standards. The ability to work independently is vital, as the Community Manager will need to organize tasks, manage time efficiently, and prioritize projects to meet deadlines. Experience with Rent Manager software and a COS designation are considered advantageous. This is a full-time position with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, and the pay range is between $16.00 and $18.00 per hour, depending on experience.
