About the position

Agropur is seeking a Human Capital Director, Operations to lead a team of Human Capital Managers, Business Partners, and Coordinators in Appleton, WI or Eden Prairie, MN. This role is pivotal in supporting various Human Capital initiatives across the organization, including change management, leader effectiveness, organization design, total rewards, talent management and development, and employee engagement. The Human Capital Director will work closely with operations leadership to ensure that the organization has the necessary people, capabilities, structures, processes, and experiences to execute on strategic plans, all while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. In this position, the Human Capital Director will provide direction and coaching to leaders, utilizing data analysis to facilitate sound talent decisions and promote a positive employee relations environment. The role also involves managing specific projects and processes such as performance management, promotions, talent reviews, and succession planning, while participating in both functional and cross-functional global initiatives. Collaboration with Centers of Excellence (COEs) is essential to create comprehensive strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring compliance with HR policies and recommending changes based on data analytics and competitive benchmarking. Additionally, the Human Capital Director will lead the Human Capital aspects of US acquisitions, focusing on due diligence and integration processes. Responsibilities

  • Direct a team of Human Capital Managers, Business Partners, and Coordinators to support HC initiatives.
  • Oversee change management, leader effectiveness, organization design, total rewards, talent management & development, and employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with operations leadership to ensure alignment with business strategy and plans.
  • Provide direction, counsel, coaching, and data analysis to enable leaders to make informed talent decisions.
  • Promote employee engagement and foster a culture of inclusion, diversity, and belonging.
  • Manage specific projects and processes such as performance management, promotions, talent reviews, and succession planning.
  • Participate in functional and cross-functional global initiatives.
  • Partner with COEs to develop comprehensive strategies that meet business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Recommend changes based on data analytics, internal/external trends, and competitive benchmarking.
  • Lead the Human Capital element of US acquisitions, focusing on due diligence and integration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Capital/Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Human Resources with experience as a people manager.
  • SHRM certification preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
