Responsibilities

  • Post job ads and manage candidate inquiries.
  • Conduct reference, background, and license checks.
  • Prepare offer letters and coordinate new hire orientations.
  • Support the administration of health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance programs.
  • Assist with FSA, HRA, COBRA, and wellness program coordination.
  • Answer employee questions about benefits and resolve inquiries promptly.
  • Encourage participation in the Health & Wellness Program.
  • Maintain accurate HRIS records, enter data, and generate reports.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Manage personnel files and ensure compliance with documentation standards.
  • Respond to employee inquiries on HR policies and benefit programs.
  • Create and distribute training materials and HR communications.
  • Plan team-building activities, meetings, and special events within budget.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years in HR with strong knowledge of policies, procedures, and employment laws.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint is a plus.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms such as Paycor, Paycom or Cornerstone TalentSpace preferred.
  • Experience with DynaFiles or other cloud-based document management systems.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification (preferred).
  • Valid Texas Driver's License with insurable driving record (required).

  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint.
