About the position

San Ramon Regional Medical Center is seeking a part-time Human Resource Generalist to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in advising and assisting management and employees on various employee issues and concerns. The HR Generalist will be responsible for effective communication, interpreting, and recommending the appropriate use of human resources policies and procedures, as well as the services and programs offered by the facility. The role involves managing assigned programs, assisting with employee relations issues, and advising managers and supervisors on regulations, policies, and effective HR practices. Additionally, the HR Generalist will perform special projects as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the HR department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, with a minimum of three years of recent experience in the field. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as well as proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office and HRIS systems. A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is required, and candidates with SHRM-CP or PHR certification are preferred. This position offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $38.94 to $60.36, depending on qualifications and experience. The HR Generalist will report directly to the HR Manager and will be an integral part of our team, ensuring that our workforce is supported and that HR policies are effectively implemented.

Responsibilities

  • Advise and assist management and employees on employee issues and concerns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years recent experience in Human Resources.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems, including ORACLE supported applications.
