About the position

The Human Resources Generalist at Rosendin is responsible for providing comprehensive HR management and administrative support. This role serves as a key point of contact for field and front-line management employees, addressing a variety of HR-related inquiries and concerns. The HR Generalist collaborates with various People Department functions to support strategic initiatives and ensure effective HR operations within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for field and front-line management employees for HR information and assistance.
  • Handle confidential information professionally, respecting employee privacy and maintaining company confidentiality.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management, including coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions.
  • Assist HRBPs in the design, communication, and execution of strategic People department initiatives.
  • Maintain data integrity by entering required employee change information and updating employee files.
  • Provide guidance in solving HR-related questions or issues related to compensation and benefits, PTO, and policies.
  • Investigate and recommend corrective actions to resolve workplace issues or complaints.
  • Assist with new hire orientation and coordinate required paperwork and scheduling.
  • Support local college recruitment program initiatives and coordinate special projects and events.
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships and increase productivity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field with 0 to 3 years of experience.
  • Basic understanding of Labor Law, including State and Federal statutes.
  • Familiarity with risk analysis and management concepts.
  • Basic understanding of compensation philosophies and practices.
  • Basic data analytics and interpretation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, record-keeping, and follow-up skills.
  • High level of discretion and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • PHR certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Oracle and SharePoint.
