About the position

The contractor position is expected to last for a duration of 6+ months and is based in Basking Ridge, NJ. The role requires an independent worker who can take initiative and manage tasks effectively without direct supervision, as the reporting relationship will not be onsite. Open communication and a proactive approach are essential for success in this position. The candidate should have a solid understanding of general HR functions, with prior experience in HR, particularly in generalist roles or recruiting. This position will involve various HR-related projects, including reviewing hiring reports for trends and anomalies, assisting with pre-boarding, onboarding, and off-boarding initiatives, and authoring new content for the internal About You portal. Training will be provided for testing new content and portals, and familiarity with I-9 and E-Verify government requirements is necessary. The candidate will also manage responses from affiliates regarding hiring and assist in updating HR documents as needed, along with other duties and projects as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Review hiring reports looking for outliers and trends.
• Assist with pre-boarding, onboarding, and off-boarding initiatives.
• Author new content and updates in the internal About You portal.
• Test new content and portals as part of the About You initiative.
• Manage affiliates' hire responses.
• Assist in updating HR documents as needed.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be an independent worker capable of taking initiative and managing tasks.
• Familiarity with general HR functions and prior HR experience, preferably in generalist or recruiting roles.
• Expertise in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Minimum of an Associate's degree is required.
