About the position

The HR Generalist at Evolution Americas is a pivotal role responsible for the comprehensive execution of human resources functions within the studio. This position requires a high level of organization and attention to detail to ensure that all HR processes are running smoothly and efficiently. The HR Generalist will manage personnel administration tasks, including handling tax forms, employment engagement forms, health insurance documentation, and termination documents. Additionally, the role involves maintaining accurate records related to employee vacations, sickness leave, bereavement leave, and maternity leave, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies. In this role, the HR Generalist will also support the Talent Acquisition process by sourcing and interviewing candidates, as well as recommending candidates for hire. The successful candidate will assist the HR Manager in developing strategic action plans aimed at increasing employee engagement and satisfaction. This includes supporting new hire onboarding and orientation, promoting the Evolution Gaming brand, and acting as the main point of contact for employee relations matters. The HR Generalist will liaise with legal and accounting departments to ensure that all legal processes and documentation are handled in a timely manner. Furthermore, the HR Generalist will be involved in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and policies, updating internal procedures to align with the dynamic changes in operations. Building meaningful relationships with staff members is crucial, as the HR Generalist will serve as a communication hub for information sharing. Participation in HR department projects will also be a key aspect of this role, contributing to the overall development and improvement of the employee experience at Evolution.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for personnel administration including tax forms, employment engagement forms, health insurance, and termination documents.
  • Ensure upkeep of data related to employee vacations, sickness leave, bereavement leave, and maternity leave.
  • Assist in gathering data for weekly/monthly/annual KPIs.
  • Manage the full process of Employment Licenses for upcoming and current employees, liaising with third-party companies for assistance and consultancy services.
  • Maintain multiple data systems and organize both hard and soft documents and files.
  • Keep all documentation up to date and perform data entry of personnel transactions, specifically terminations, transfers, and salary adjustments.
  • Support new hire onboarding and orientation processes.
  • Act as the main point of contact for HR-related situations and queries to sustain healthy employee relations.
  • Liaise with legal and accounting to ensure all legal processes and documents are handled in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and policies, updating internal procedures as needed.
  • Work alongside the HR Manager to improve employee experience and overall satisfaction.
  • Create and develop meaningful relationships with all staff members, acting as a communication portal for information sharing.
  • Participate in HR Department projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field, or professional education in the Human Resource area.
  • Proven previous Human Resources experience in a related position.
  • Excellent knowledge of English is required for execution of job duties.
  • High level of competence in the Microsoft Suite is necessary.
  • Experience in reporting and knowledge of employment law, particularly in Pennsylvania.
  • Ability to prepare and organize personnel record-keeping documents in accordance with laws and regulations.
  • Ability to advise employees on HR matters within the scope of the role.
  • Knowledge of personnel management processes is essential.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills are required.
  • A calm and professional disposition with a high level of motivation and initiative is important.
  • High sense of responsibility and self-driven, results-oriented attitude with a focus on quality and business profit.
