About the position

The Human Resource Generalist at Radial plays a crucial role in supporting operations and business leaders by performing various administrative HR duties. This position involves assisting the HR Manager with policy formulation, salary administration, and employee relations, while ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of employee queries. The HR Generalist will also coordinate orientation and training sessions for new employees, conduct investigations into employee complaints, and maintain accurate employee records. This role is essential for fostering a positive work environment and supporting the fulfillment operations business.

Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative duties for HR
  • Work closely in partnership with HR Business partner
  • Assist with policy formulation and salary administration
  • Help with coordination of orientation and training sessions for new employees
  • Ensure smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to their queries
  • Respond and resolve HR related inquiries from employees, managers, HR Central, and vendors via phone, email, etc.
  • Conduct investigations and advise on employee complaints and grievances
  • Maintain accurate employee related records and case notes in HR systems
  • Provide jurisdictionally appropriate legal advice and interpretation on employment legislation
  • Handle most aspects of involuntary employee terminations in partnership with the HR Manager
  • Provide coaching and advice to managers on performance management and corrective action
  • Participate in HR related projects
  • Prioritize tasks effectively and work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Deliver presentations and training to managers and/or employees
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with stakeholders
  • Facilitate discussion focus groups with employees and leadership
  • Conduct exit interviews for all employees who voluntarily terminate their employment
  • Assist with job fairs and community outreach related to hiring.

Requirements

  • Working experience in Human Resources required
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Degree or certificate in Human Resources or related discipline preferred
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, flexible and adaptable to change
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity

  • Flexible and versatile
  • Demonstrate patience and understanding
  • Approachability and willingness to work side by side with all levels of employees
  • Flexible to be available to 1st, 2nd, and weekend shifts as needed
  • Affinity to Tools and system (Workday, Job Science)
  • Spanish speaking preferred
