About the position

The Human Resource Information System (HRIS) Analyst will be responsible for managing and maintaining HRIS databases for a public sector client. This role requires a strong technical understanding of HRIS products and excellent communication skills to support the HR team effectively. The analyst will ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and provide analytical support to enhance HR processes.

Responsibilities

  • Work with, update, and maintain HRIS databases.
  • Provide technical support for HRIS systems.
  • Ensure data integrity and confidentiality in HRIS.
  • Assist in the implementation of HRIS upgrades and enhancements.
  • Generate reports and analyze HR data for decision-making.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience with HRIS databases.
  • Strong understanding of information systems and at least one commercial HRIS product.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access).
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Nice-to-haves

  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred.
