About the position

Envision Radiology is seeking a Full Time Human Resource Information System (HRIS) Specialist to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. The HRIS Specialist will play a crucial role in managing, evaluating, designing, and maintaining the organization's HRIS applications and modules. This position requires a technical expert who can provide analytical support in the administration, implementation, and execution of all information, business processes, and system requirements related to HRIS applications. The HRIS Specialist will be involved in the complete life cycle of reports, solutions, interfaces, and guidelines, ensuring the development, implementation, maintenance, and timely processing of all systems that enhance operational efficiencies. The HRIS Specialist will oversee and maintain the optimal function of all HRIS applications, which includes configuration, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrades to applications, systems, and modules. This role will also provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to users, manage permissions and access for HRIS users, and perform audits to ensure consistent and accurate data. The specialist will write, maintain, and support various reports and queries using appropriate reporting tools, assisting in the development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Additionally, the HRIS Specialist will monitor HRIS functions to ensure proper functionality, processing, and report generation, while maintaining data integrity through queries and data analysis. The work environment is a professional office setting where standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines are routinely used. The HRIS Specialist will work closely with subject matter experts in HR, IT, and Payroll to ensure effective system interfaces and functionality, and will communicate with vendors to stay updated on system issues and enhancements. This position does not have supervisory responsibilities and is designed to support the HR department in achieving its goals efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees and maintains optimal function of all HRIS applications, including configuration, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrades.
  • Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to users.
  • Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar operations and settings for HRIS users.
  • Performs audits of HRIS to ensure consistent and accurate data, integrating policy and process changes into reports and HR file feeds.
  • Writes, maintains, and supports a variety of reports/queries using appropriate reporting tools, assisting in the development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs.
  • Monitors HRIS functions to ensure proper functionality, processing, and report generation.
  • Maintains data integrity by running queries and analyzing data.
  • Communicates with vendor(s) to keep abreast of updates, issues, tickets, etc.
  • Recommends process/customer service improvements and innovative solutions.
  • Assists functional SMEs with reports for their preparation of internal or external data needs.
  • Works with SMEs in HR, IT, and Payroll on system interfaces and functionality.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Three plus years' experience with HRIS system administration, maintenance, and reporting.
  • Ultimate/Kronos HRIS experience preferred.
  • Experience with people analytics reporting preferred.
  • Ability to handle data, reports, and information in a confidential manner.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver, and a team player.
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to excel in a very fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to continuously exceed company and customer expectations.
  • Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office programs.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field (Information Systems, computer science, etc.) or equivalent education, training, and experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with people analytics reporting preferred.
  • Ultimate/Kronos HRIS experience preferred.
