About the position

The HR Manager at Saint-Gobain Composites will play a pivotal role in supporting and partnering with the site leadership team at the manufacturing facility in Worcester, MA. This position is integral to achieving business goals and objectives by managing all aspects of Human Resources Support and Talent Engagement. The HR Manager will be responsible for the establishment, implementation, and administration of a wide range of HR programs across multiple shifts and various SBU functions. This includes providing counseling and advice on various HR topics, ensuring effective delivery of HR programs, and enhancing employee engagement and business results. Key responsibilities include overseeing benefits support and administration, managing compensation processes, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and leading diversity programs. The HR Manager will also be tasked with developing and delivering training and employee growth programs, facilitating new employee orientations, and managing performance management processes. Additionally, the role involves proactive recruitment and workforce planning, utilizing ATS systems, and building a strong internal talent pipeline. The HR Manager will also be responsible for maintaining compliance with employment regulations and policies, managing employee relations, and addressing performance management and engagement issues. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as HRIS experience. The HR Manager will work closely with the management team to ensure that all HR initiatives align with the overall business strategy and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with site leadership team to effectively deliver HR programs and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Provide counseling and advice on various Human Resources topics to support the business.
  • Establish, evaluate, and lead the development of personnel policies and their implementation at the site.
  • Manage maintenance and update of records, procedures, and practices related to HR compliance.
  • Work with management to develop, deliver, and document required training and employee growth programs.
  • Facilitate all new employee orientations and oversee employee development.
  • Coordinate annual performance management processes and employee surveys.
  • Proactively assess recruitment needs and identify appropriate methods for staffing.
  • Utilize ATS/systems for recruitment and partner with talent sourcing teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources within a manufacturing environment is required.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Human Resource Management capacity is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities are required.
  • HRIS experience is required.
  • PHR or SPHR certification (or equivalent) is preferred.
