About the position

The Human Resource Manager at Landmark of Richton Park is responsible for overseeing the human resources department, ensuring effective management of payroll, recruitment, employee relations, and compliance with personnel policies. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively with other managers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full cycle recruitment process including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and orientation of candidates.
  • Process payroll and manage time clock entries.
  • Maintain an effective orientation program for new hires, ensuring completion of all necessary paperwork.
  • Obtain licensed certification and conduct criminal background checks, reference checks, and nurse aid registry checks.
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive personnel and medical files for all staff in compliance with regulations.
  • Order, issue, and document nametags and uniforms for employees.
  • Maintain an adequate inventory of employee packets and update them as necessary.
  • Manage Worker Compensation injury packets and ensure timely submission of injury documents to medical professionals.
  • Maintain weekly Employee Accident/Incident Summary Reports and file First Reports of Injury.
  • Oversee employee benefits policies and reconcile them with payroll deductions.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Prior Human Resource experience preferred.
  • Payroll experience preferred.
  • 1 year of long-term care experience preferred.
