About the position

The Human Resources Manager at KeHE Distributors is responsible for overseeing the HR needs of employees within a designated facility or region. This role focuses on fostering a positive employee relations culture, managing employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and regulations. The HR Manager will handle various HR functions including employee relations, benefits administration, training, and recruitment, while safeguarding confidential company information.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all human resources materials, ensuring compliance with company and government regulations.
  • Disseminate HR policies and procedures to ensure employee compliance and awareness.
  • Train managers on employee coaching, discipline, and grievance resolution.
  • Administer employee benefits programs including health, dental, and disability insurance.
  • Monitor and manage employee Leave of Absence programs.
  • Conduct exit interviews and prepare separation notices.
  • Conduct management and employee training for compliance purposes.
  • Perform internal workplace investigations and ensure proper resolution of issues.
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates for open positions.
  • Conduct new hire orientations and manage HRIS data entry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of five years of management experience in the food service or grocery industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
  • Knowledge of employment law and government compliance regulations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field preferred.
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
  • Ability to resolve complex problems using sound judgment.
  • Capability to prioritize and handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
